OrientaX handles personal information received through this website, WhatsApp, email and travel proposals under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).

Information and purposes

We use contact details, travel dates, destinations, group size, preferences, accessibility needs you choose to provide, messages, proposals, payments and essential technical data to answer enquiries, prepare and deliver bookings, coordinate suppliers, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud and—only with consent—measure site use. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing, retention and rights

We disclose only what is needed to relevant guides, licensed transport operators, accommodation, booking or payment platforms and technology providers. Some providers may process data outside Japan. We retain information only for operational and legal periods and apply reasonable safeguards. You may request access, correction, suspension or deletion where the APPI provides.
